Links to Performing Artists and Bands
Many of our most thrilling partnerships are with individual performing artists, festivals, and bands. We feel extremely fortunate to participate in cultural events of the highest artistic caliber, making our contributions through our commitment to provide the right sound, live recording equipment, and engineering services.
We want every artist to feel comfortable, knowing that we are delivering our best efforts on their behalf. Serena and I feel responsible for the sonic connection between the artist(s) and their audience. We want every audience member to have an unforgettable cultural experience of your powerful performance. This is what we call serious fun-for the artist(s), the audience, and for us as well!
Working with Conservative and Reform Jewish Community Centers to supply their sound needs both on and off premises for High Holy Days, and for cultural events has been a specialty of In Concert Audio for several years. In 2007, for example, we worked with three different congregations for the High Holy Days.
We recognize the importance of full consultation with lay and religious authorities in each congregation or center to ensure our compliance with all religious and technical requirements for each event, whether religious or cultural.
Serena and I are often shocked when we hear of the exorbitant prices paid for sound and live recording services for meetings, conferences, benefits, and rallies. As we are focused on work with not-for-profit organizations, we always try to help maximize the effectiveness of scarce monetary resources. At the same time, we do not relax the high audio standards that guide us in our concert work. If a meeting, rally, conference or benefit is worth having, then the organizers should be able to count on the reliable performance of their sound and recording systems, AND the complete professionalism of those who are operating those systems.
Frankly, we carefully evaluate our participation in an event BEFORE we bid to see if we can basically agree with its social or charitable intent. DURING the event, we work with the organizers to make sure they are satisfied with the quality of our work. AFTER it, we again seek their input to guide us in our future work.
You will find us to be your Innovative Sound Partners.
Working within tight budget constraints is a specialty for permanent installation work at In Concert Audio. We have excellent supplier connections for all major brands of professional sound equipment.
More importantly, we want to work with on site users of the system to ensure that we incorporate their experiences and needs into the system design. There have been instances where we have decided, with our
client, that a system update, not a new installation, would be the best solution. Our goal is to be of service to our client using the right sized equipment of the highest possible quality given budgetary constraints. We are on YOUR payroll, not the equipment manufacturers’, so we
Won’t try to sell you things you don’t need! We deliver value for every dollar received.
We enjoy training on-site personnel in the proper use and maintenance of the new installation. This ensures many years of reliable use of the
system before any major repairs will be needed. We draw on our long experience operating sound systems ourselves, and add our expertise in teaching live audio technology at the SAE Institute in New York City.
